Does it use a lot of battery when WandelWeb is set to Unrestricted?
No, not more than needed
"Unrestricted" only means Android can't simply stop WandelWeb. WandelWeb only actively uses GPS when you record a hike, navigate, use route monitoring or share your live location yourself. Otherwise the app does nothing in the background.
Want to know which features use your location and how to stop them? Read Why does WandelWeb stay active in the background and how do I stop it? in the Navigation and Recording category.
