How do I set WandelWeb to Unrestricted on a Motorola or Google Pixel?

Motorola and Google Pixel (Android 14 or newer)

This is where it goes wrong most often, because the setting takes two steps.

1. Open Settings > Apps > See all apps > WandelWeb.
2. Tap App battery usage (sometimes: Battery).
3. You will see a switch Allow background usage. Turn it on.
4. Important: now tap the text of that row itself, not just the switch. A new screen opens.
5. Choose Unrestricted (not "Optimized").
6. Go back to WandelWeb.

Only turning on the switch is not enough: the app is then still set to "Optimized". That is why WandelWeb keeps showing the message.

Older Android version? Then step 2 immediately shows three options: Unrestricted, Optimized and Restricted. Choose Unrestricted right away.

Tip for Motorola: does your recording still stop halfway? Also turn off RAM Boost via Settings > System > Performance, and restart your phone.
