Can I navigate on my Apple Watch?
Turn-by-turn navigation (Premium)
With a Complete (Premium) subscription you can navigate a route directly from your Apple Watch.
- Turn instructions — you see the next turn and the distance to it on the map
- Haptics & voice when off route — if you take a wrong turn you feel a tap on your wrist and hear a spoken cue
- Record at the same time — you can record your walk while navigating
If you start navigation only on your watch, your phone stays quiet — the cues come through the watch so you do not hear anything twice.
