Which map style is used offline?

Map style for offline use

When you save a route for offline use, the map tiles are downloaded in the Streets map style (the default street map).

Important:

• Only the Streets style is available for offline use
• If you normally use a different map style (e.g., Outdoor or Satellite), the map will fall back to the Streets style when offline
• All roads, paths, and important landmarks are visible on this map

The map area:

• The downloaded area is automatically calculated based on the route
• A small margin around the route is included
• Map tiles are available from an overview level to a detailed level
