What is the WandelWeb chat feature?
Chat with other WandelWeb users
The chat feature lets you send private messages directly to other WandelWeb users. Useful to plan a hike together, share a route tip, or just catch up.
Key properties:
- End-to-end encrypted — only you and the recipient can read messages
- Real time — messages arrive instantly, you can also see when someone is typing
- Archive — close conversations without deleting them
- Block — block annoying users in one tap
- Report — report abuse straight to our moderation team
Where to find chats:
- Open the Messages screen in the app. The first tab is Chats.
- Or open another user's profile and tap Send message.
Chat is free for all users — no Premium subscription required.
