How do I block a user?
Block a user
Annoying or unwanted messages? You can block someone in one tap.
From the conversation:
- Open the chat with the user
- Tap the menu (three dots) at the top right
- Choose Block user
- Confirm in the pop-up
What does blocking do?
- The user can no longer send you messages
- Their existing messages remain visible in your archive, but the conversation is closed
- We do not explicitly tell the blocked user they've been blocked
- Their attempts to message you get a generic "couldn't deliver" notice
Unblock someone:
Currently you can't unblock through the chat itself. Contact us if you want to lift a block.
