Why is my highlight not yet visible to others?
Highlight approval
New highlights are first reviewed before they become visible to everyone. We do this to ensure quality.
How does it work?
- After submission, your highlight is only visible to you
- You'll see a yellow notice "Awaiting approval" on your highlight
- An administrator reviews your highlight as soon as possible
- After approval, the point becomes visible to all users
How long does the review take?
- Usually within 24 hours
- During busy periods this may take a bit longer
Rejected?
In rare cases, a highlight may be rejected, for example if the information is incorrect or the point already exists. In that case, the point will be removed.
