The best hiking routes in Park Krajobrazowy "Stawki"

Park Krajobrazowy "Stawki" offers a distinct walking experience shaped by its low-lying, waterlogged topography. Unlike the dry pine forests common in other parts of the region, this landscape is dominated by damp deciduous woodlands, particularly alder carrs and ash-elm forests. The terrain is flat and damp, with numerous small streams, drainage ditches, and marshy depressions that dictate where you can walk.

Underfoot, you will mostly encounter soft, damp earth tracks rather than dry sand or paved paths. Because of the high water table, many sections require sticking strictly to the established forest tracks to avoid marshy ground.
