The best hiking routes in Lubusz Voivodeship

Lubusz Voivodeship in western Poland offers a low-lying landscape shaped by glacial activity and major river valleys, meaning you will not find high peaks or deep gorges here. Instead, the terrain is characterized by extensive pine forests, marshy floodplains, and post-glacial lakes. Underfoot, walkers can expect a mix of sandy forest tracks that can feel soft, damp peat trails, and occasional wooden boardwalks over the wettest ground.
