Where is my highlighted location shown?
Visibility of your highlighted location
Your location is shown in several places:
- On the hiking map in the app — as a distinctive marker once hikers have zoomed in enough on your area. This works on all maps: when viewing routes and while walking and recording
- On the detail page — hikers who tap your marker see your photos, description and a button to your website
Who sees your location?
All hikers using the app, including hikers with an ad-free subscription. A highlighted location is not an advertising banner but useful information on the map: a place to eat, drink or stay along the route.
