How do I create a highlighted location?

Creating a highlighted location step by step

1. Log in on the website (or create a free account first)
2. Click your profile picture at the top right and choose For businesses
3. Click Highlight a location
4. Fill in the details:
   • Name — your business name as hikers will see it
   • Type — accommodation, food & drinks, or both
   • Short description — a catchy introduction
   • Address or map location — search by postcode or click on the map
   • Website link and button text — where hikers go when they click through
5. Add a main photo and optionally extra photos
6. Add text sections, for example 'About us', 'Facilities' or 'Special for hikers'
7. Save your location as a draft and review everything
8. Click Publish and complete the payment

Tip: you can build your location as a draft at your own pace. You only pay when you want to publish.
