Rudniański Park Krajobrazowy offers a distinct landscape shaped by its position on the tectonic border of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland and the Oświęcim Basin. Unlike the high, dramatic limestone cliffs found further north, this park features a gentler, more fragmented topography. Walkers will find a mix of flat, damp valley floors and low, wooded hills capped with volcanic basalt and limestone outcrops. The transition between these two geological zones is visible on the ground, where sandy paths suddenly give way to dark, stony tracks.

Underfoot, the terrain varies significantly depending on your choice of path.
