The best hiking routes in Isarauen

The Isarauen stretch along the Isar river as a gravelly, forested corridor that contrasts sharply with the surrounding urban and agricultural land. The landscape is shaped by the river's alpine origins, characterized by wide gravel banks, alluvial forests of willow and alder, and dry pine stands on the higher gravel terraces.
