Ethniko parko Dasoys Dadias- Lefkimmis - Soyflioy is characterized by its dense, mature pine and oak forests interspersed with open glades, rocky outcrops, and small stream valleys. Unlike the high, rugged peaks of the nearby Rhodope range, this landscape consists of gently rolling hills and volcanic rock formations that slope down toward the Evros valley. Walkers will find a network of forestry tracks and marked paths where the ground underfoot transitions from dry, pine-needle-covered soil to gravelly, exposed stone on the ridges.

The forest structure is the result of traditional low-intensity forestry and grazing, which has maintained a mosaic of closed canopy and open pastures.
