Kumaki Dobrej is a protected wetland area characterized by a mixture of damp meadows, dense alder carr forests, and open marshland. Unlike drier pine forests nearby, this reserve is defined by its waterlogged soils and flat terrain. Walkers will notice a landscape shaped by seasonal flooding, where drainage ditches and small ponds break up the grassy fields. The area lacks elevated viewpoints or dramatic ridges, offering instead a low-lying, horizontal perspective of marsh plants and thickets.

Underfoot, the paths are primarily unpaved earth tracks that can be soft, alongside grassy margins that run parallel to the drainage networks. There are no boardwalk networks here, so walkers must navigate the natural terrain directly.
