What if someone has blocked me?
Blocked by another user
If someone has blocked you, you can't send them messages anymore. We don't show an explicit "you've been blocked" notice, but:
- Sending a message will fail with a generic error
- The conversation otherwise looks normal — there's no list to see who blocked you
- Existing messages in your conversation remain visible (encrypted on your device)
Important:
- Don't look for ways around it — respect the other user's choice
- You may not use a new account to re-approach someone who has blocked you; we treat that as evasion which can lead to a ban
