How do I report inappropriate behaviour?
Report a user
Receiving harassing, abusive or inappropriate messages? Report it as soon as possible via the report function. Our moderation team takes every report seriously.
How to report:
- Open the chat with the user
- Tap the menu (three dots) at the top right
- Choose Report
- Confirm in the pop-up
What happens?
- The report goes straight to our moderation team
- We assess the conversation with respect for everyone's privacy — note: the messages themselves are encrypted and not readable to us
- We look at behavioural patterns, prior reports and context
- Actions can range from a warning to temporary or permanent ban
Important:
- When you file a report we do not ask you to share the messages themselves — they are end-to-end encrypted and only readable on your device
- For serious cases (threats, doxing) we recommend also contacting the police
- Save your own screenshots as evidence if needed
