Tenczyński Park Krajobrazowy offers a distinct walking landscape shaped by its geological position on the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland. Unlike the flat plains nearby, this area is defined by forested limestone hills, deep ravines, and sudden limestone outcrops that rise above the trees. Walkers will notice a sharp contrast between the dry, pine-covered sandy soils on the southern slopes and the damp, shady beech forests that occupy the limestone valleys and northern aspects.

Underfoot, the paths vary from soft forest loam and pine needle carpets to loose limestone gravel and exposed rocky steps.
