The Emmeringer Leite und Eichenauer Wald offers a distinct contrast between a prominent wooded gravel ridge and a flat, damp forest floor. Walking here, you will notice the steep rise of the Emmeringer Leite, a glacial moraine leftover that stands out clearly from the surrounding Amper river valley. The high ground features dry, sandy forest tracks winding through beech and oak trees, where the drainage is quick and the ground feels firm underfoot.
